EMERITA B. PAULMINO, a 34-year-old married to a 35-year-old freelance technician and blessed to have 2 children ages 8 and 11. She is the second to the youngest child among her 8 siblings. Her 70-year-old mother is a plain housekeeper but her father already passed away. She accomplished her secondary education in Kaong National High School year 1994 and afterwards looks for a job and fortunate to work as a sewer, machine operator in a garment factory for almost 2 years. Currently she is working as a manicurist in their neighborhood while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claims to be a hardworking and a trustworthy person. Based on her own experience, she is well-versed in doing household chores such as cleaning, washing clothes, dish washing, and ironing. As a mother of 2, she is expected to be familiar in performing basic infant care duties like bathing, sterilizing utensils, preparing baby's food, feeding, changing of diaper, giving medications if the baby is sick, and knows how to check temperature. With her experience in her 60-year-old father who suffered from diabetes, she has the knowledge in performing elderly/bedridden duties like preparing food, feeding, checking temperature, sponge bathing, changing of clothes & diaper, handling medication and always monitoring the condition. Aside from performing household chores, she is also capable of simple sewing and basic gardening as well. She also has knowledge in cooking simple Filipino dishes and willing to learn more.
2) Though no formal experience as maid in Philippines she considers herself experience as she does all the housework such as cleaning the house laundry, cooking and others in their household. She also experienced caring her children, younger brother & sister, nieces and nephews, neighbor’s children and cooks for the family. Upon confirmation she will undergo intensive in house training in an accredited center in Manila and POEA training and processing prior to deployment to Singapore prior. Recommended salary S$400.00.
