ARLENE ORFIANO BAÑAGA, a 36 year old mother of 3 children ages 17, 15 and 13 year old from Luna, La Union. She is the eldest child among 2 sisters. Her 69 year old Father works as a farmer and her 56 year old Mother is a housewife. She accomplished her secondary education at Luna National High School year 2001. She had her maid employment experienced in the Philippines from 2007 -2008 / 2009 -2011 served 2 Filipino family.
1) Philippines (2007 -2008), she served a Filipino Relative living in a 3 bedroom 2 storey house with an adult and a 86 year old female elder still mobile. She worked as an all around housemaid doing household chores such as maintaining the cleanliness of the house, washing and ironing of clothes, cooking, washing the dishes and others as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She also attends to the needs of the elder. She served the family for 1 year.
2) Philippines (2009 - 2011), she served a Filipino Relative living in a 3 bedroom bungalow house with a couple and a 2 year old child. She worked as an all around housemaid doing household chores such as maintaining the cleanliness of the house, washing and ironing of clothes, cooking, washing the dishes and others as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She also taking care of the daily needs of the child. She served the family for 2 years.
With her experienced as a housemaid. She is expected to be well versed in doing household chores such as cleaning, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, washing the dishes and marketing.
Being a mother of 3, she is confident in performing basic infant care duties like bathing, sterilizing utensils, preparing baby's food, feeding, changing of diaper, knows how to check body temperature. She is also capable in taking care of young children and attending for their needs.
She is also keen to look after elderly person and willing to be trained in giving them direct nursing care if necessary.
She has knowledge in cooking Filipino dishes such as adobo, denengdeng, sinigang, pakbet, tinolang isda and a lot more. she is eager to learn other foreign dishes.
Aside from these, she is also willing to do basic gardening, petcare and car washing if necessary.
After selection, FDW will undergo 3 weeks In-House- Private Training in Manila (Accredited by TESDA) then OWWA seminar and processing of POEA employment documents for deployment.
