ARLENE A. CAMITOC, a 29-year-old single from Julita, Leyte. She is the third child among her 6 siblings. Her 60-year-old father works as a farmer in their hometown while her 56-year-old mother is a plain housekeeper. She accomplished her secondary education in Julita National High School year 2009. She previously worked as a factory worker in a garment factory at her early age to help her family for their daily financial needs. Afterwards she also worked as a service crew for a year and then she had her maid employment experience and served two Filipino families. Currently she is helping her mother in managing their mini-store while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claims to be a hardworking, honest, responsible, and a loyal worker. As an experienced housemaid, she can be considered proficient in doing household chores such as cleaning, laundry, dish washing, and ironing. She also claims she is capable of taking care of young children and attending to their needs. She can also help and teach children on their school work. During her employment in the Philippines, she used to look after an elderly and gives direct nursing and has performed daily duties. Aside from that, she also has skill in preparing and cooking Filipino dishes and still willing to learn more.
2) Philippines (2006 – 2008 / 2009 – 2010) served a 76-year-old elderly living in a 2-storey residential house. She is responsible in assisting the elderly and performing basic elderly duties such as preparing diet food, feeding, assisting when bathing, helping in changing of clothes and diaper, giving daily medication, injecting insulin and checking of blood sugar. She also does household chores during her free time. Then she served another Filipino family living in a 2 –storey residential house with a 3-year-old child. She is responsible in doing general household works such as cleaning, laundering and ironing, dish washing, marketing, cooking and others as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She served the family for only a year due to family decided to migrate to USA.
3) With Maid Employment / experienced in Philippines. After selection to undergo in house Private training in Manila ( Accredited by TESDA ) for a whole week then Training and processing for POEA for deployment. Recommended salary to be S$380.00
