LUZVIE C. TAMANI, a 25-year-old married to a 33-year-old driver and blessed to have 2 children ages 4 and 6 from Upper Bicutan, Taguig City. She is the eldest child among her 3 siblings. Her 47-year-old father works as a farmer in their hometown province while her 45-year-old mother is a plain housekeeper. She completed her secondary education in Doña Magdalena H. Gaffud High School year 2003. She previously worked as a factory worker in a chemical company for almost 6 months and currently she is working in a bus terminal as a cashier while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claims to be a hardworking and a trustworthy person. Based on her own experience and being the eldest child, she is well-versed in doing household chores such as cleaning, washing clothes, dish washing, and ironing. She also has the willingness in doing car wash, basic gardening and even caring for pets. As a mother, she can handle and take care of young children and attend to their needs. Having 2 children of her own, she is confident and well-versed in performing infant care duties like bathing, sterilizing utensils, feeding, preparing baby's food, changing of diaper, giving medications if the baby is sick and knows how to check temperature. She has skill in cooking simple Filipino dishes and able to follow recipe. She has no experience in looking after elderly or bedridden person but she is open in the opportunity and willing to be trained in dealing and performing basic elderly duties needed. She is eager to work in Singapore mainly for the reasons that she wants to give a better future for her children, to have a secured savings and as well as to help her husband financially.
2) Though no formal experience as maid in Philippines she considers herself experience as she does all the housework such as cleaning the house laundry, cooking and others in their household. She also experienced caring her children, younger brother & sister, nieces and nephews, neighbor’s children and cooks for the family. Upon confirmation she will undergo intensive in house training in an accredited center in Manila and POEA training and processing prior to deployment to Singapore prior. Recommended salary S$400.00.
