YOLANDA G. GABUMPA, a 35-year-old married to a 36-year-old welder worker and blessed to have 4 children ages 6 to 13. She is the second child among her 8 siblings. Her 57-year-old mother is a plain housewife but her father already passed away. She finished her secondary education in Pasay East High School and afterwards worked as a food server for a restaurant for 11 years and then she had her maid employment experience and currently working as a housemaid for a Filipino family living in a bungalow house with 2 children while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) As an experienced housemaid, she is well-versed in doing basic household chores such as cleaning, washing clothes, dish washing, and ironing. As to her cooking skills, she is able to prepare and cook simple Filipino dishes and willing to learn more especially on foreign dishes. She can also do marketing by herself. She is also confident and knowledgeable in taking care of infant and young children and attending to their needs based on her experience in handling her own children. She is eager to work in Singapore for the benefit of her children’s future and to help her mother who is suffering from heart problems with her daily medications.
2) Philippines (2010 – present) served a Filipino family living in a bungalow house with 2 children ages 2 and 6-month-old. She is responsible in doing everyday household chores for the family such as maintaining the cleanliness of the house, laundering and ironing of clothes, dish washing, marketing, cooking and others as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also accompanying the children when they were going to her employers’ in-laws.
3) With Maid Employment / experienced in Philippines. After selection to undergo in house Private training in Manila ( Accredited by TESDA ) for a whole week then Training and processing for POEA for deployment. Recommended salary to be S$400.00
